This place absolutely kills it. The atmosphere and decor is outstanding, and I especially love the rooftop bar/lounge area — there are cabanas!!! The drinks are amazing too. They have their own custom cocktails alongside signature cocktails which are all reasonably priced. The drink pictured is my go-to: the tequila sling (it’s an aloe Vera margarita). I’m practically a regular here even though I live in downtown Denver, so you KNOW this place is good. This is a great place for happy hour, celebratory dinners, and fun events.
Rosetta hall is a brilliant idea. It offers some food that boulder lacks. Mainly cuisine that is authentically ethnic. Jacaranda is by far the most refreshing staple. Their fried plantains are to die for and the food is made in a exacting fashion. Fresh floral flavors mixed with raw spices and pickled morsels made up an incredible dish I had today. However, the west African food isn't all there is to the story. Rose's, the American kitchen has incredible French fries seasoned with celery salt. Make sure when you're done you stop by the bakery booth. Lastly the menus rotate, which is a first in Boulder. The food is reasonably priced and while it is delicious and expertly crafted the chefs aren't running away with trying to be too fancy. Theirs a sublimely simple nature to the dishes that allows a focused flavor palette in every individual plate. Kudos
Beautiful joint with an array of cuisine. It is a bit pricy. Roof top patio is choice plus as it looks over Boulder towards the Flatirons.
Just meh. The drinks were pretty good, however, I can’t rate this place 5 stars when I can’t even dance with my fiancé because everyone wants to gather in a stupid circle and watch people take turns dancing. Moronic to say the least.
Gorgeous venue. Great food! Tried Modou's African cuisine. Fabulous!
We tried out Rosetta hall today for lunch and had a fun time. We love trying new things and got a variety of options from different places to share. Will definitely be back!
Great place! They're settling into routine really well and operating with much more efficiency than at the start. Amazing food but I agree a bit pricey for CO standards.
I have only been to the House Dance nights on Saturday but that is more than enough to keep me coming back. The energy, the intricate lighting and everyone just having a blast is just hard to replicate but they do it every weekend. Despite frequently being around this place during the day and hearing how spectacular the food and selection is, I've never been there in daylight hours.
If you are looking at reviews asking yourself: shoulder I go here? The answer is yes. This place really hits the spot and is exactly what Boulder needs to take it to the next level. So thoughtfully designed in all ways. Bottom line, it's just a wonderful experience to try a variety of gourmet foods (the food is truly great), in a laid back, super-cool environment. Words can't really describe it. Just go. Thank you to Donovan Greene, Rosetta Hall co-owner and CEO for bringing us this gem. I personally find myself here weekly for all of the above reasons. Good for people of all ages, including families with small children.
I found 4 things around $3-$4 each (half apps from taco place and half desserts from French place), shared them with hubs as a nice tasty snack! The desserts were my favorite. As far as main courses or tacos, there are other nearby competitors that might be a better value, but if you don’t mind paying for the extra variety of other items, or the fabulous roof deck, then I think you will be pleased!
Great atmosphere and rooftop for relaxing while viewing the flatirons. The aesthetics are really well done. Unfortunately the portions are too small for the price. If larger, regular dinner plates were offered this place would certainly level up. Otherwise, I'll be back for drinks.
Very interesting food options and set up! Loved Jacaranda and the French bakery food. I plan to go back and try Ginger Pig. Beautiful ambience.
Interesting locale! Great atmosphere, food variety, seating, bar. I will return!
This new concept restaurant is trendy and just a little bit too spindy. there are excellent selections of a wide variety of food styles, but it's all a walk-up counter seat yourself no waitress, and it's about the same as a traditional sit-down restaurant price wise. Still, very much worth a visit.
Amazing venue, wide variety of high quality cuisine. Come Thursday nights for dancing!
Very fun and different experience...loved having such a variety of food options and a great bar! Only suggestion would be a few more kid-friendly options!
Fancy dinning in a beautiful place and OK prices, can't beat that!. Strongly recommend it.
A social anthill that sports unique and interesting food. Both meals proved special. Take a risk on something you’ve never had!
Delightful surroundings including sidewalk counter, large common area with sky lighting, mezzanine and fun rooftop area. Wide variety of interesting food and drink. A bit pricey.
Nice hang out but hard to find a table during peak hours.
Finally! An open style market and bar has come to Boulder and the location could not be in a better spot on pearl street! You can walk in to the market for drinks during happy hour or meet friends to hang out with menu options that range from Italian to America, vegan to carnivore...no one has an excuse not to meet at this place...they have a a bit of something for everyone taste...the mezcal old fashion is delicious!
First time today at Rosetta Hall and to say I was impressed and wooed would be an understatement. I found my way to LA TIGELLA and assure you I will find my “way†back again (and soon). The special of the day was mussels and without exaggeration, they may have been the best mussels I have ever had. Portion was larger than I anticipated but thankful for! The ingredients fresh, the spices savory and pleasant. The dish was enhanced by the delightful ciabatta bread; in fact, I went back for more. The staff was engaging and helpful. If you are in the neighborhood, stop by, you will not be disappointed. Not in the neighborhood...get there! Enjoy.
Went to Jacaranda—really loved the breakfast sandwich I got—super unique flavors and ingredients combined into something so dang delicious. The chef was really friendly and kind and I really want to go back to try the other items on the menu. Before I went to Rosetta Hall I’d read google reviews and some folks had complained that the portions at some of the places were really small for the prices. I didn’t think so with my sandwich at Jacaranda, it was plenty for me for a meal, $8 for a sandwich in a really lovely atmosphere. One thing though—I went at 630 on a Saturday night and it was super crowded and hard to find seating. You have to scavenge for a table and it ended up being fine but may not be as fun if your group is super hungry and ready to eat right away.
Great food options with an upscale yet comfortable vibe. Whether you're looking for a coffee, appetizer or meal, there are lots of good options. The guac and chips at Tierra are a favorite!
This place is amazing! Food choices for everybody and we all agreed that it was delicious. We had a big group of 12 and even on a busy night we found a spot on the benches/stairs in the back. The details in the design of the place were well thought out and perfect. It’s honestly a higher end food court! Served on glass plates. You pick up your own food at the counter but waiters are constantly coming around to get drink orders and clean up plates.
Great vibe, food and drinks. A variety of cuisines in a modern spot.
Fantastic space. Great restaurants and beverages. The self serve still or sparkling water is nice. Space is tight, but I imagine they'll work it out.
Good vibes, love the music they are playing, great atmosphere, good food. I had a grass fed double burger with a side salad and it was great. Def coming back.
Beautiful food hall with delicious food and drinks. The seating is incredibly comfortable and make sure you check out the rooftop if it’s open.I tried the peanut lamb stew at Jacaranda and the millet toast at eridu and the chocolate cake at petite fleur. Wow. All so good.
Very interesting concept to have several ethnic mini-restaurants under a single roof, kind of like an indoor market/cafeteria. I tried the mexican place and got a couple of tacos which, though pricey, were filling and delicious. Servers cam around and offered cocktail and drink menus. They also have water stations with plain and sparkling water from the tap.
Finally, Boulder has a cool public market type eatery. Great restaurants with wonderful menus to choose from, something to please everyone. Asian, check. American, check. African, veggie and grain type of place, French - check, check & check. A lot less pricey than any of these options would be if you went into a restaurant. Super cool space with white marble tabel tops and modern feel without being too hipsterish or industrial. Not too loud. A place to linger and a space to enjoy. Fizzy water on tap for self service too, how cool is that! You can have a $12 dinner and feel like you ate at a super fancy restaurant, which you did; it just didn't cost $50 per person. Neat concept, great execution, everything about it is so awesome. Knowing how fast restaurants come and go in this town, keeping my fingers crossed this place is here to stay.
Beautiful and unique but pricey. If you aren’t super hungry and you don’t mind expensive food and drinks, this is a place to experience. Especially the roof. Day or night. No happy hour.
The food and decor are amazing. It’s an excellent place, and I’m so excited it’s here. All the food I’ve tried is top notch. Love the ambiance.I took off a star because of the choice to have a weird co-Ed bathroom stall area. You have to go use a stall where some man left the seat up and peed all over the toilet. I wish they’d separate it out so the boys who didn’t learn to be respectful and clean can pee somewhere separate from sitters. There’s a reason that ladies’ rooms are so much cleaner than men’s rooms, and I’d love to not have to go in a men’s room at a bar.
Really nice place to grab a coffee, drink, or food from around the world. Comfortable seating, wifi, and plenty of space. Excited to check out the rooftop when it comes available. Only downside is that I wish they had a happy hour.
This place is amazing!! My first visit there opened my eyes to what a warm inviting and fun environment Rosetta Hall is for connecting over incredible food options and amazing drinks! My second visit on New Years Eve was spectacular! We danced the night away, enjoyed an exciting champagne toast at midnight and the staff are gracious and kind! Lyndsey Wilkinson is a rock star! I cannot wait to go back!
This review is specifically for Jacaranda. We loved the flavors here and the chef was so friendly and knowledgeable. There were tons of good gluten free options and although many of the dishes had dairy, the staff were very careful about informing us and deconstructed a few dishes so that I could have them. West Africa cuisines are so rich and diverse; if you’ve never enjoyed West African flavors, be sure to give this place a try! A very friendly and delicious introduction
Rosetta hall, I like you! But, you are also the definition of doing the most. Your concept is awesome and you are always super packed for happy hour and week nights!!! Why ruin that with a dance club that's not really working? We were sitting around having a nice glass of wine and were moved because they were opening up a dance floor. We were like HUH?! They turned up the music suppperrrrr loud, we couldn't hear anyone talk, and there were 6 people on the dance floor. We ended up leaving when we would have stayed way longer and had more drinks. Dance club aside, I really like the roof top with fires and the cocktails are delicious! All the food I've tried has been great as well.
Pretty awesome place. I've now tried four different restaurants and they've all been outstanding!
Amazing food and WEEKEND DANCE NIGHTS are off the chain! Nice to have some mature night life in Boulder. Good vibes, great music, fun times all around!
The food is expensive, but very high quality. I would come back here and eat again the only problem would be what would I choose? I don’t mind tipping because there are people bussing your dirty dishes, wiping down the tables, and keeping the dining area neat and clean. Additionally, there is free sparkling water. It’s hard to make it in the restaurant business and I don’t mind paying when I’m fairly certain the tips and higher margin food will go to the people doing the work.
Incredible property with multiple food stalks, all of which dish up extraordinary food. Something for everyone and then some. Casual, high quality dining experience in an absolutely beautiful setting.
I quickly discovered the incredible variety of innovative chef talent coupled with local and sustainably raised menu options. But the biggest surprise came after 10:00 when some great DJ rhythms and dance complimented the evening. It’s about time the best of Boulder was brought under one roof. Great job!
A unique place to add to the culinary diversity in Downtown Boulder. Good ambience and diverse food options are the USPs for this place. Has some food vegetarian options as well. My meat eating friends also mentioned their food options were good. Could do better with the portion sizes on offer for the prices. Wouldn't recommend if you are really hungry or want a quiet place.
So kind ! I didn’t have a card to pay with so they gave me a coffee and churro, told me to pay it back next time. So understanding & honestly made my morning. Plus it was a beautifully frothy cappuccino which is hard to do with almond milk & I’m very impressed.
This is a welcome addition to our downtown dining destinations. You can choose from competent, but abbreviated French, Italian, Asian, African, S. American menus all in one very pleasantly designed space. Certain winner for larger parties or if you really don’t know what you want until you arrive! There is a central bar that serves all food booths with efficient table service. Some of our party ordered from Confit -pictured is a tasty but sized down version of cassoulet. Beans were perfect as was the duck leg. My friend had the Beef Bourguignon served as a tartine which was an nice touch but a fair bit too salty for our taste. Others enjoyed vegetarian dish’s from Ancient Grains, and a chilled Vietnamese noodle salad All worth a few visits to fully explore this new Food Hall.
Great food and drink selection in a cool, upscale venue. I look forward to returning. Also, I can't wait for them to open the dance floor!
Best food hall I've ever been to
